What does the job look like?
The role of Operations Coordinator is responsible for the daily processing of customer inbound/ outbound transactions. You will be first point of contact for organising customer orders for the warehouse via SAP ensuring all orders are ready for collection in the designated timeframes. Based in Richlands this role will be Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm). Key areas:
- Process customer outbound paperwork daily
- Manual check of inbounds against paperwork
- Accurate receipting of inbound deliveries in SAP (DWS)
- Assist with the Dock Window – first point of contact for all personal entering the warehouse
- Plan and implement daily dispatch plans
- Ensure orders are processed to meet customer KPI’s and SLA contract agreements
- Deliver timely and accurate customer service
- Highlight operational issues to Manager to ensure proactive approach
- Work with Operations team to help improve process
Are you the one?
If you have high level of customer service, intense organisational skills and are driven to work as part of a trustworthy, reliable team then we need you! You can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a similar role with in the warehousing industry
- Sound communication skills, to manage the expectations of various stakeholders within the organisation.
- A ‘solution’ driven approach to workload management, whilst never compromising on safety or legislative compliance.
- Knowledge of Transport Management Systems or similar is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel.
- Good understanding of legislation applicable to the workplace and ability to act in accordance with (but not limited to) OH&S guidelines, duty of care responsibilities, chain of responsibility legislation, Drug & Alcohol policy
