About the Role:
The Venue Manager role focuses on building a positive restaurant culture and developing team member capability to deliver memorable experiences for our guests. Curate and maintain a diverse, modern beverage list across all our outlets.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering outstanding customer experiences through personally demonstrating positive interactions and coaching the team to do the same
- Managing and continuous developing the restaurant & Bar wine, spirits, beer and cocktails list
- Managing and developing our wine program for the in house wine Cellar and Wine Club offering
- Supporting the recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members in line with brand values
- Having a proactive, and solution-focused approach to improving guest satisfaction
- Upholding high operational standards across all areas of the restaurant, ensuring consistency and compliance with brand standards and service culture
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in a sommelier role- WSET Qualification would be beneficial
- Knowledge of international wines, spirits, and beers
- An expert that can deliver exceptional service and take our guests through a journey of tasting and pairing wine beverages to accompany the food menu
- Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
- Exceptional service skills and guest focused
- Adaptable and flexible
- Proven ability in building effective relationships
- Organizational and time management skills
- A current VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
