Core Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, your core responsibilities will include:

Marketing Team Organisation and Support (30%)

  • Update and maintain Marketing Annual calendar(s)
  • Work with key team members to drive the execution of the internal communications for our brands including new product rollouts, etc.
  • Support on logistics, finance and data updates as relevant
  • Run Weekly Marketing Team meetings, including room allocation, note taking and action follow-up with marketing team
  • Support Head of Marketing (HOM) with team events and organisation.
  • Be available as a resource for senior marketing professionals who need assistance with completing large projects
  • Ad hoc tasks and team support where relevant (as agreed by HOM).

Digital Marketing support (40%)

  • Assist with developing the social media calendar, adding images and providing content copy and suggestions.
  • Scheduling/uploading approved content across social media channels.
  • Assist Digital Managers to develop and roll-out targeted campaigns through digital channels (including, but not limited to, social, video and search execution) to increase engagement with the master and/or sub-brands through the online community.
  • Support with AFOL team engagement as relevant.
  • Support digital team with digital analytics, campaign After Action reviews and ongoing analysis as needed.

Competitor monitoring and support (15%)

  • Evaluate and monitor competitive performance on an ongoing basis by analysing and creating comprehensive reports. Update the team of competitive landscape and key trends

Events & Partnerships Support (15%)

  • Toy Fair (Event) Management: Handling key partners, Toy Fair stand setup and admin
  • Build presentation templates to use for major business meetings and conferences
  • Work closely with the in-store trade marketing team to help track collateral deliveries
  • Image requests for PR Agency and/or PR campaigns
  • Support Office Manager Manage with New Product Presentations twice a year across AU + NZ

The Marketing Coordinator position plays a key role in assisting all functions of the wider marketing team achieve their daily objectives. The role is pivotal for maintaining administrative order and helping implement key initiatives that drive Marketing success.

This role offers an extraordinary opportunity for someone starting out in the Marketing profession, or has wanting to progress further in the Marketing field. The ANZ Business Unit is mainly focused around sales, marketing and operations and therefore medium term career progression within marketing and other areas are available if performance and potential indicators are realised.

This role will require occasional weekend and/or out of office hours and also occasional domestic travel may be required.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A basic understanding of marketing will be highly regarded. Previous work in marketing within an FMCG and/or consumer goods industry would be ideal.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data to deliver reporting and useful insights
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and self motivation
  • Organised and methodical approach to tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Drive for consistent follow through and high quality work
  • An understanding of digital marketing
  • Canva experience preferred.
  • Thinks ‘creatively’ and responds quickly when situations change
  • Has a playful disposition, eager to learn, passion to inspire and thrives in a team!
